im trying to figure our how to ring in refire/remakes into my POS (ipad, sometimes iphone). the reason is for inventory tracking. say i have 50 pizzas for today, and i have an accident and drop 1 or mess up the order, how can i remove the 1 from the inventory of 50 without going into the item details mid service to adjust?
running a small but extremly busy popup so i dont have time to do this mid service. the only way i can think of now is either a 100% discount button which is how i currently do, or a "comp" which is a setting i just found and havent tried.
but i was hoping there was a way to ring them in as a refire/remake.
@MalaSuerteFood What you are doing, but just call it a 100% discount and call it refire/remake etc. You can always pull a discount report, but your inventory will be accurate. The only thing that is skews is gross sales, but I don't watch that number as much as net sales.

Based on what you shared, I can see why you’d want to remove the item quickly. I think it is great that you discovered the discount workaround. Comps or voids can also be useful in situations like this as well.
