Does anyone on this board connect their Square site with Google Business? I have a problem where my items automatically sync, including item name, description, stock, and photos.
However, Google's Merchant Center rejects the item because it says it's missing the price. I have a price, and I first thought I needed to add a sales price, so I added that, but I'm not sure that's the fix.
Any thoughts within the group?

So I struggled to get google merchant center to update with Square, I am sure there is a way to make it connect nativly but it never worked for me. I went to the API's and built a catalog export, then used it to auto populate a sheet for google to update everyday.

I would start with the catalog export, my original post is here: https://community.squareup.com/t5/Retail-and-eCommerce/Export-your-item-urls-inventory-and-image-url...
Export your catalog to google sheets github snippet here: https://github.com/JTPets/SquareCatalogExportToSheets

Hello JTPETS,
It is very kind of you to respond. Your API suggestion sounds like a plan. I hope I can tackle this, as I am technically minded but not a programmer.
How can I find your GitHub article? Is there a specific link to it?
Cheers!
Mark

JTPETS,
Thank you so very much for the share. I will explore all.

If you get stuck or want to see examples of the google sheet I upload after automating it all let me know!
JT- do you know if this pulls all locations in square? i have 2 inactive ones and it's pulling over 5000 variances. i'm assuming it's past locations.. gonna try to tweak the code. it's late and i should quit but i found your post and am determined to get my merchant centre working!
it pulls all locations when extracting the catalog
Thanks @JTPets for providing some awesome solutions here and sharing your knowledge! @MarkSpiegelman be sure to let us know how it goes!
I'm having this exact same problem. All my items on Square have prices but Google has rejected 74 of them saying they don't have prices... I shouldn't have to build an API--that's what I have hired Square to do!
Googles merchant app is not ideal even when dealing directly with Google. I still struggle with that even with a self implementation
