Fulfillment shows prior to "add to cart" on some items but not others

I am new to square and setting up my POS system.   I have some items (pizza) that go directly to the cart after choosing options.  No fulfillment option comes up (default is carry out).   When I add other items (ex: sandwiches) the fulfillment options show on the pos screen before having to click the add to cart button.   Pizza does have modifiers for toppings.  Sandwiches do not have modifiers.  

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi there @JustPizzaToo.  When you add new items, the default is to add items without modifiers to the cart automatically.  You can change this. 

 

To use your example, edit one of your sandwiches.  Scroll down until you see the section “Checkout behavior.”  There is a toggle there called “Skip item details screen.”  Toggle this off and save the item.  Now when that item is selected, the screen you want (that includes fulfillment options) will be displayed.

If you need to add the fulfillment, turning off the setting to skip that screen would be the best option here.
