Feature Request: Separate Payments on Split Bill

Hi,

I'm hoping that square can improve the split payment feature so that individual payments can be made without having to pay the whole bill at once. 

Picture a table of ten people all sharing bottles of wines and side dishes etc where it is impractical to split individual items to another table to be paid separately... one person has to leave early and the rest of the table stays for a while longer but that person wants to pay a certain amount. It would be great if we could take a payment and have that credited to the table while continuing to use the open table to order more items. The current system doesn't allow for this relatively common scenario and makes for a very clunky customer experience.

This is a great feature request. I recommend posting this on our Square for Restaurants Ideate board. That will give other Sellers the opportunity to like and share their use case for this feature, so our product team can understand the need of this feature.
