Do I need to purchase a 2nd Square Reader?

Hello-

I have 2 craft fairs in separate locations -- on the same date/time.  I already own a square reader...... is in necessary for me to purchase a 2nd square reader for my daughter to take sales at the 2nd show?  Or can she use her cell phone to accept sales?  Thanks much.

She would need to be signed in to your account for either of the below cases.

1. is in necessary for me to purchase a 2nd square reader for my daughter to take sales at the 2nd show?  To accept a Payment from a Credit Card and inserting it or a Swiping the Magentic band..Yes you would need a 2nd Reader or Mag reader.  Now if a Customer has the ability to Tap a credit Card or other such device on her phone, she might be able to have Tap to Pay on her cell so no Reader is needed for a Tap transaction.  Another way to accept Payments that are not Only cash for more sales.
2. Or can she use her cell phone to accept (Cash)  sales?   Yes she can use her cell phone to accept Cash transacations as long as she is signed into your account for it to show under your sales. Or Signed in with her Tap to accept Payments with Square enabled.
