OK Here's the question for you seasoned Square Community.
I have Retail Plus. So I can do Bundles and Discount.
The question is ...
I have ... Product A and Product B. If the customer buys 2 x Product A or B, no discount. If they purchase 1 x Product A and B together, they get 10% off.
Discount will apply the 10% if they 2 x A/B in the first senario.
The other problem is that I don't want to have another bacode to deal with. Gets too confusing because I need to repeat this 20 times for other items.
Any suggestions?
I just want to scan A and scan B and the discount will be there.

Hello John! Another John here. 🙂
I think the answer to your question is yes, but it will need to take some tweaking to get it right. You might have to make 20 different discounts, however I think if you can arrange it so there just one, if you can manage to put all the "A"'s in your example in the top portion of the discount rule, and the "B"'s in the bottom.
You also might have to tweak the discount percentage, as the discounts only applies to the "equal or lesser" value item. This might require you to have multiple discounts to get the exact 10% off. Maybe you can offer 20% off the 2nd item, to make it close to 10% off both items. Again, some math here depending on your specific needs.
Here is an example I quickly built using two of the same item price keys. I selected the specific discount to get it to apply to the purchase, so there is some human intervention here. Mine did not occur automatically.
I hope this helps get you started. Please let me know if further questions.

Been trying to figure this out for hours. Almost had it, but just just racking my brain to find the solution. Then here comes John to the rescue.
Thanks a lot. It worked. Now if Square can figure out a way that Discounts can be duplicated, things might improve and go faster. LOL.

Awesome news John!!! Glad to help!
And your comment about duplicating....feel free to make a feature request here - https://community.squareup.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/product-ideas
Have a great day!
The discounts section, while not perfect, definitely has great features. Glad you could get his question answered so well.
