Can you send marketing campaigns via text?

New to Square and trying out the loyalty and marketing services, but it seems pretty limited. Is there any way to send out campaigns as texts, like in the US?

Does anyone use a third party app for marketing and loyalty?

At this time text marketing campaign is not available for Canadian sellers, but email marketing is.

We are looking to bring this feature to our Canadian sellers but I do not have an ETA.

I know that is really limiting and a really key feature to have for all sellers!

I hear you! I know it seems odds to have the feature, but not have it available for all countries. I am really hoping this happens soon for Canada!

Yes, the error comes when you enter a phone number and click the blue next button. Sorry I should have mentioned that.

Are you located in Canada  @Shambhala if so the text marketing feature is actually not available right now in Canada.

Yes, Canada. It's definitely an urgently needed feature, and will be the dfference between whether I set up my new store with Square or someone else-ify

I hear you @Shambhala! It is definitely a key feature. I wish I had an eta on if and when it would be available but I do not.

Just wanted to check in to see if there is a timeline to have this available in Canada.

It’s a key feature and we have to start looking outside if square if this is not something that will be available soon.
