Can a customer enter a code without a discount to track sales?

I would like to have available a promo code for customers to enter online and not attach a discount? For better sales organization. Is this possible?

Hey @thaigaigan Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Seller Community. Are you referring to having a coupon for checkout? You can set that up in the online store under Online Store > Items > Coupons. I have a feeling this may be what you are looking for, but of course let me know if you are looking for something else. Hi there.

No I'd like to have a code to give sales people. And when their customers buy they enter code so I can track sales. 

Too inexpensive of an item to raise price and give discount.

@thaigaigan that will only be possible through the Point of Sale app through the instructions above. You can create a specific discount for each sales person to use if you like, but ideally they all can use the same discount code and you can just track their sales through the team sales report on the Dashboard under Reports.

So I don't want a discount applied always. And I want this applied to online sales.

I want a sales person/promoter/Influencer(for lack of a better term...) Etc... To tell someone

" Hey fo to thaigaigan.com order sauce and don't forget to enter promo code ____."

This code will track who promoted the sale so I can apply the correct commission... Etc..

No discount... MAAAYBE discount later but for now just track sales by promo code... 

"Hey go to Thaigaigan.com enter promo code "SQUAREUP" and sign up at checkout for future discounts, give aways, and more!

This will allow the person that referred you to get a special thank you!!

Something like that... Sorry if Its taking me a minute to make it clear...

It's like a referral program to help track and promote and when ready apply discounts...

That makes sense! The coupons used for sales will show in the orders export you do in Square Online. You can use that as a report for these coupons. 

What you will need to do is create one coupon for each influencer/sales person you have and only share it with them. Don't have the coupons expire either so they can be used continuously.

Haha, thanks!! Well, I may not be as awesome, because I did miss the part about a 0% discount. You will have to have at least a 1% discount in order for the coupon to apply.
