Already have POS but want to add basic bar/restaurant functions

Hi,

I run a small Guest House that also does alcohol and evening meals. It would be nice to be able to keep a tally during the guests stay of what they have purchased to make checkout easier. At the moment I write down everything then use the App to add the items.

It's not the end of the world but it would just save a bit of time for the guests instead of waiting for me to tally it up.

There seemed to have been a thing called Open Tickets but I cant seem to get that. I'm being pointed in the direction of the restaurant app but can't see that on the App Store.

I have read I shouldn't need another account and should be able to just set something up on my existing account but the help hasn't been very helpful.

Hi there, @Leonna.. What you are wanting to do is the perfect use case for House Accounts. You can create a transaction and instead of paying it out immediately just pay it to the appropriate house account. Then, when the guest is ready to check out, you can take care of payment then. Unless I'm missing something, that would be much easier and straightforward than having a bunch of open tickets, or using the Restaurants POS.
