sell digital files -Photography

hi there

we are running a bnb with pub and gallery - in this times we want to sell digital files from our photos here at the online store. question:

i set up the store with a lot of our imagines -which was really a lot of work- however - no i see when i take a look at the page (as customer) that i can easily download -costfree - the file via right click and save as ...

this must be a joke (i hope)

i write to the support -no answer-

can someone tell me -could i deactivate the "right click" function at my shop?

or could i add my logo to all the pics -automaticly ?

i sit here for about 2 days with the setup and now all the work seem to for the bin? 😞

i really looking forward to any help or ideas which help me to fix that problem

thank you in advance

You could put a watermark on all images shown online to discourage customers from helping themselves - although if the file they see online is the one that gets sent when they purchase - that won't work ( I don't know how the website file sales works).  Right click deactivation does not stop screen grabs, and I'd be surprised if the square site has that functionality anyway.

If selling images is important - i would use a platform designed for photographers. A good one will facilitate digital file sales and handle protection for you. I can recommend one called Redcart, but there are loads out there in varying levels of complexity and price. (I am a photographer).
