"There Was an Error, Please try Again" keeps popping up

We are still receiving reports from customers that cannot purchase any of our event sales due to the error above. This past spring was horrible from all web browsers would report the same error for a week.  After one product was relisted had reports today from a few customers that the cart would not open, and the message was given above the price. (Square Online)

 

I have unpublished and republished the site numerous times and tech support has no idea, in fact they just close each case.

also checked today, no outages all systems up 100%

 

Any ideas out there?

I visited your site and did not get the error shown on your screenshot, but seems like the required fields are gone.

 

Did you make changes to this item and has this fixed the issue you were facing? Or is there a different item I should be looking at?

The required fields have been removed, and the error was received from another registered person the day this thread was posted. I have not been able to duplicate the issue on my end. No issues with any browser.

 

I just want to know what causes it, and how to avoid it. Have new pages going live in about 2 weeks.

If this was an isolated issue, it was likely their browser or device not loading the site properly. Sometimes, cache in the browser can cause issues like the one pictured. 

Using an incognito window or a different browser or device can help confirm if this is an issue on Square's end, but it usually solves the problem. If the behavior persists, our team can take a look at what's causing the error. 

 

In case you or another one of your customers receives the same error message, it's helpful to know the device and browser they were using and contact our direct support team with that information.
