item limit, but can some items not count?

We like the item limit feature, but could make way more money by allowing some items to NOT count toward that limit. As a restaurant, we can only handle so many sandwich orders at one time, but if someone wants to order 10 bags of chips, say, we'd like to allow that. There are plenty of menu items that don't require prep time that I'd like to sell without limit.
