how do I sync the menu created on my dashboard to my POS register?

I created my menu for Square for Restaurants via the dashboard using my desktop but it will not sync to my POS register. I tried to log out of the POS register and log in again to give it a chance to update but nothing works. what do I need to do?

Can I confirm that you're currently logging into Square for Restaurants on your Square Register, not Square Point of Sale?

 

I suggest you log out of Square Point of Sale once more and log back in using a Square Restaurants Device Code.

 

Keep in mind that only Square for Restaurants’ Free features are available on your Square Register at this time. When upgrading from Restaurants Free to Restaurants Plus or Premium plans, the paid features are currently not available on Square Register. But if you do upgrade, you can still access these premium features via your online Square Dashboard.

 

Let me know how you go about signing in with a device code.
