I have an online quilt shop. I sell lots of fabric per yard. When I change the unit measurement from per item to per yard, the weight box disappears. I sell various type of fabrics and each can weigh differently. The couple of fabric orders we have received since opening our online shop has not been charged enough shipping. We end up paying more for shipping the item than what the customer paid. We can't afford this added cost. Every dollar counts for this small business. So my question is how are customers charged for shipping if I can't add in the items weight?
