What is the status of Square implementing a proper way to charge a CRV fee?

Based on other threads, this has been a requested feature for years. The solutions provided in the previous discussions do not work. You cannot add the same service fee multiple times to cover the amount of bottles purchased. If more than one bottle of the same product is purchased the CRV fee is only charged once without a way to increase the amount or quantity applied. Given the amount of businesses this affects, the monetary loss, and lack of solutions from Square, it seems  likely for this to become a class action lawsuit. If there has been any progress implementing this feature, please let me know.

You are in a totally different industry but as a coffee shop who has a grab and go fridge we pay that CRV at time of purchase from our distributor then take that into account when choosing the price for the item sold. 

We are at such a small scale

when it comes to that so I can see in your business that it would definitely be a helpful solution to have a way to add that in.
