What happened to Square and all the Online stuff?

I used to love Square because it was simple, now there is a million things on it and the simplest thing for me which was the online checkout links do not work.  I can load up the item but if you click checkout I get an Error 404 page for every single item.  I've seen some other people with solutions but I'm just not familiar enough I guess to know what they are even talking about.  Also contacted support and they started talking to me about fullfillments and more.  I sell services, I just want to be able to text someone a link so they can pay, and it just doesn't work.

Hello @shg thanks for your post. How are you creating your checkout link? Here is a post about creating online checkout links, and these should work for both items and services. If you'd like me to checkout your site and see if I can see anything unusual, feel free to post a link. I hope the post mentioned above might have a solution for you.
