Square Online supports adding a Google Universal Analytics tag which is then sent transaction data.
Google Universal Analytics is deprecated and Google had sent out warnings that they will stop collecting data at some point.
Their new standard is Google Analytics 4, which requires new events to be sent by Square Online in order to record transaction data.
Getting this data is critical to optimize sales funnels, including advertising and page structure.
This is a feature request to add these Google Analytics 4 events, and the ability to add a Google Analytics 4 tag in the Square Online interface.

Custom header code can add basic Google Analytics 4 page view tracking, but I do not believe custom header code alone can add this transaction data - this needs to be something square does for us.
I spoke to customer support and they had no idea universal was sunsetting. Said it wasn't on Weebly's radar.
On July 1, 2023, this property will stop processing data. Starting in March 2023, for continued website measurement, you should create a new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property, or one will be created for you based on your original property and reusing existing site tags.
Thank you for flagging this @pettytheft. Our team is aware of this timeline and they expect to release and update within the expected time frame. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
When I compare Weebly's "Unique Visits" to GA4's "Sessions," the GA4 # is much higher. Why is this?
