Square Stand: Can I share the Stand with other stylists in a salon?

Hi,

We are a salon with independent workers, we have a small space for the front desk and one of the stylists had bought the Square stand -- we would like to all use it for scheduling and payments but do not have the space for more than one on the desk. Just wondering if that is possible to use the payment for each separate bank account on one stand/ipad.

We currently have the mag stripe but would like to expand to the chip reader and stand.

Yes—you all can use the same Square Stand to process payments.🙂

There are a couple different ways to go about this:

1. Each person can simply sign in/out using their personal Point of Sale account. Do make sure that you're logged in correctly each time so that the payment goes to the right person.
2. You may be interested in setting up Team Management, which will allow each employee to set up a PIN as well as specific permission settings. For complete details, have a look here: Delegated Team Management
