Royal Mail - Current Workarounds Please

Not wanting to open 'that' can of worms - we know what we should be able to do......

What current work arounds are there to link Square orders with RM?

Ideally one that has a free trial first to make sure it'll work the way we need it to (pretty standard way).

Thanks ๐Ÿ‘

Hi @Sam_400ยบ ๐Ÿ‘‹

No problem!

Correct that we do not have a direct partnership with Royal Mail currently. Our partnership with Shippo is the only way to fulfil orders via Royal Mail at the moment.

Here is their page where they have their carriers listed.

If you were to use Royal Mail via Shippo there is a one-month free trial and then monthly pricing will depend on your number of labels required, starting around ยฃ14/month. More details here in our App Marketplace.

We have heard from other sellers that this integration is still in need of development, so I definitely suggest trying the free trial before committing to anything.

Thanks @Breffni - that currently shows as Weebly integration, is that right? Does that mean it works with a Square based online store too?

It's that time of year again!

Any progress on a direct Royal Mail integration that allows us to use click and Drop and our Direct Business Acounts.

I see the original long running thread on this has been closed and archived without resolution.

The use of an expensive plugin that does not allow us to use our business accounts with Royal mail is not a solution as not only is there a subscription but we dont benefit from our direct account discounts.

5 years on from the long running thread about royal mail integrations and 3 from the comment about it being "on the roadmap for two years" and it doesn't look like we're getting any closer to anything. I'm reluctant to open my online shop to taking orders without good shipping integrations and I'm not large enough to justify paying for the plugins.

This is a frustrating barrier to expanding.

You can use this Square (squareup.com) to Royal Mail Click & Drop Sync Tool to sync orders from Square directly to Royal Mail Click & Drop.
