Our restaurant sells hot dogs and we use custom modifiers for toppings. Many of the modifiers are pre-selected (for example "chili" and "cheese"). Up until earlier this week, when customer browsed the menu online, they would see the total price of the hot dog (base price + pre-selected modifiers). Now they only see the base price while looking at the category view. They see the total price, including pre-selected modifiers, once they click on the item.
For example, American Dog is $5 ($4.85 base price + pre-seleted modifiers of ketchup, mustard, relish (all free) and $0.15 for chopped onions). While looking at the category view, it is listed as the base price only ($4.85). When you click on it, it shows $5.00. This change seemed to happen all of a sudden earlier this week.
We had been integrating our menu with DoorDash and GrubHub, but they both said that they do not have access to adjust any prices.
@silkhope86 So, your post had me scared. I have a dozen signature sundaes that have pre-selected modifiers that should show correctly in my only store, too. See screen shot.
Anyway, I pulled up my store and all of them are showing correctly, including the prices for pre-selected modifiers. This leads me to believe there is something happening that is specific to YOUR store and not to ALL stores. To help me figure out what suggestions I can give — or who to tag or tell you to contact — can you please reply with your website/store URL so I can look at it, see the issue in action, and the go from there?
Thanks.
