Pre-order & Shipping

This is about my food & beverage online website. I have been successfully using pre-order with pickup and delivery for 1+ year. In fact the whole business is pre-order based. So if customers order before 1 PM on any day, they can schedule fulfillment for the next 30 days in the open and available time slots (which I am able to setup and change easily from Settings).

Now I am planning to start shipping. But it looks like pre-order option is not available for Shipping only items. So the question is about ways and workarounds to meet the need for preordering items for a Monday-only Shipping. Thanks in advance!

The ability to enable Square Online items for preorder with the Shipping fulfillment method is currently a Feature Request. 

I recommend adding your support to this thread and detail how this added functionality would positively impact your business.

In the meantime, for Sellers who need this option immediately, one suggested workaround is to create an item (e.g., "Pre-Order: [insert item name]") and include the expected arrival and shipping details in the item description. This approach allows you to use Shipping as the fulfillment method while specifying in the description that orders are shipped on the following Monday.
