Payment Link for Event Admissions

Hello,

I'm at a small institution where people are able to purchase a ticket and then come in and views the displays/grounds. When they're on-site, it's easy enough to sell them a ticket at the front desk.

However, I would like to give people the option to pre-purchase a ticket for their day of choice online. (We have a website through Wordpress, not Weebly, BTW). 

I can create a purchase link that I can embed on our website to let people buy a ticket, but I can't figure out if there's a way to let people select a date for a ticket. I don't want to make a million item variations that I have to keep updating, as that's the only way I've figured out so far. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hey there, @HistoryLover - 

Yes, you're able to add a payment link to your website for your customers to use before getting to your event. I would recommend this Support Article with the steps to get this completed. 

1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Orders & payments (or Invoices & Payments or Payments) > Payment links.
2. Click Create a link > Sell an event or class.
3. Enter the event details, including the event location. You can choose between Online or In person.
4. Click Create link.

This doesn't work, as it requires you set a start and end date, and a start and end time. This isn't a one off event. It's admission to a site that is open multiple days a week for the entire year and people can come at any time of the day during our open hours. 

I want people to be able to buy a ticket for the day they want to come, and for them to come when they are available on that day, and for this to be done through a single link. I don't want to have to constantly be changing links or updating variations as the days pass.
