Order tickets now display customer phone number/Customer name auto fills with the customer phone #

Hi,


Were a fast food restaurant in a busy food hall. Part of our steps to service is we ask the customer if they'd like to input their phone number, so they can wonder around or whatever. 

After a recent update, the kitchen order ticket(which we use to stick to bags/trays) now display the customer phone number. It didn't used to do this up until maybe 4 weeks ago. 

On top of that, the customer name section now auto fills with the customer phone number when the customer inputs their number themselves. 


Its rather cumbersome during a busy service to have to delete the number Just to enter the customer name. 

And customers don't like their number on display. 

I'm sure this feature is great for some, but not for us.  

I cannot for the life of me find a way to toggle this on or off. There are zero options on what displays on the order ticket in regards to customer information. 

Perhaps I just couldn't find the toggle or if its not a toggle can become one?

I wasn’t aware of this change and definitely want to look into it further. To clarify, this is happening with in-person orders, correct? Could you walk me through the steps you use to create the orders? If you have any screenshots of the new tickets or an order number we can refer to, that would be really helpful. You can mark out any customer information you don’t want to share.

Thanks for reaching out. 

Yes, this only happens with in person orders. 

So we take the order and to process the transaction we then hit pay, which prompts the customer to enter their number if the choose.  

Next stage is to take the customers name, if the customer inputted their number, it auto fills the customer name section. Then we have to delete the number and then input the name. 

Once the customer pays, the order ticket prints, which we use to either stick to the tray or bag, so we can keep track of the orders. 

This is how we have been doing it for over a year now, only recently did it start putting the customer number on the order ticket. 

I can't seem to attach the pictures, it says I'm not allowed.

I tried that, and it will let me now. But the for some reason it won't let me upload the specific pictures. I can upload other ones though. 

I tried resizing, switching to a different format. Nothing worked. 

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong because the error code doesn't say why it won't upload, it just says I can't. This is what it says. 

Uploading PXL_202509[Redacted].png resulted in the following error: Unable to Save Image
