Online store header low resolution

I’ve come to notice that our online store header shows as very low resolution when utilizing mobile, why is this? @kellyj

Hmmm, good question @MAXSDELI 

Do you happen to know the size/resolution of the image you've uploaded? Has this been a change from when you first uploaded it? Happy to look into this further.

@kellyj : The header for the Weebly mobile platform has always been visibly, of lower resolution than the desktop version, perhaps some info on the best size for the header would be of use to us. 

Comparatively, the item images seem fine. Any help with this from @adamsmasher would be welcomed.

Thanks for tagging me, @kellyj. What ratio is your image, @MAXSDELI? Is it significantly wider than it is tall?

Ok. I checked and it looks like this can happen if you have an image in landscape orientation and there is a large between how tall it is and how wide it is.  The image ratio right now is roughly 3 times wider than it is tall. If you were to crop some off the sides so it was closer to say, only twice as wide as it is tall, then that should help.

@AdamB, thanks, I’ll try that. I tried a more conventional image which looks good on a desktop but always looks like crap when using the mobile site, it always seems to crop in such a way that the original image becomes almost unrecognizable. I’ll post an example shortly...
