Multiple selling locations with different menus

We've spent countless hours reviewing Square Support and working with direct support staff who have not been able to help.

We have multiple locations - 2 alternating Farmers Markets and Farmstand. We have a grab n' go category that is available at all locations for online & in person ordering. We have a Farmstand category too, with limited menu items that we want only available at the Farmstand, but these items are also available with our full in person menu.

We set the applicable location for our Farmstand location and it's set for online selling (visible), but after publishing again and again, it just won't show up.

This is likely something that requires support from Square, but they have been extremely difficult to work with.

Hello @Wizardz ! Welcome to the seller community!

Let me make sure I'm visualizing your menu correctly: you have a grab n go category that is available in all of your locations, and is visible online. You also have a category specific to the farmstand that you're wanting available online only in your farm stand location. Correct?

If so, I'd like to rattle off some ideas. Forgive me if some of these have been discussed with support already.

-For each item that you want in your farmstand online store, make sure each location is set correctly on the web dashboard item editor.

-Further down in that item editor, make sure the farmstand online store is selected

-Make sure the fulfillment types match what the farmstand online store is expecting (ie don't have Shipping enabled on the item if you're not offering shipping)

-On the Categories section of the web dashboard, make sure the items' category is set to be visible in the farmstand online store.

-If that category is a subcategory of another, make sure the parent category is set to be visible in the farmstand online store. Subcategories inherit the online settings of its parent category regardless of settings.

If none of those help, there may be an issue with the website order mode (Shop All vs Order Online) that will take a little more digging.

Let us know if any of these work for you, and please reply with your farmstand's website. We may be able to see other ideas once we see the site.
