Hello! I have different products at different locations because they require different delivery fees or shipping. My products on the online website are constantly showing up with making a selection for the location, even though they are only available at one. Is this a really bad bug? I have unpublished, republished, deleted products and started over, took the products off of the locations then reassigned and nothing is working. It should make logical sense to me that they only display the location they are available in. This is going to deeply confuse customers and I don't like this set up at all. I have a free account, is this the same on a paid version? Makes me not want to upgrade at all... Shopify had the different locations down pact.
Thank you for that information, @aas5501. I went ahead and sent a message over to our eCommerce team to check in on this and they said that everything is working as intended.
They said that since your site has two locations setup for pickup, it is expected behavior for the Select Pickup location to be displayed since the Shop All page does not have a location selector popup like the Order Online page.
They said that the best solution would be using the Order Online page template to have the fulfillment pickup locations displayed before viewing the items. The other option is to create a a 2nd site and assign the Mother's Day Bouquet to that site with only the Local Delivery location as pickup on that site.
I hope this helps a bit. Please let me know if you end up having any other questions about this!
Hello @aas5501, welcome to the Square Community! I would be happy to help.
I can definitely get this escalated over to our eCommerce team to take a look for you. Could you please provide me with what items this is happening to, or is this happening to all of your items?
Hi Sammie. It’s happening to all of them! I spent nearly 2 hrs on chat support yesterday and they said if it was only assigned to one it should only have one showing up but they never resolved anything!
I am sorry to hear they couldn't get this resolved yesterday. Could you please send over 1 or 2 examples of the items that are experiencing this issue? Feel free to add them to this thread, or send them over direct message.
Yes I can show you. As I said everything is only assigned to one location.
So this first one and it makes you select between the 2 locations I have: https://jolie-flowers.square.site/product/mother-s-day-bouquet/10?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=false
The rest of my items so far belong to the "subscription location" and these all make you select between the 2 locations I have as well: https://jolie-flowers.square.site/product/august-subscription-csa-/6?cp=true&sa=true&sbp=false&q=fal...
I am wanting it to only display the location it belongs to, not have the customer select between the two locations in the popup. They cannot bypass it either, as the add to cart button is blocked off until they select where the product is in stock.
Here is the link to my shop overall: https://jolie-flowers.square.site/

Thank you Sammie. I will check out the functionality of the online store to see if that could work better for my needs or creating two different sites. Thanks again
You are welcome, @aas5501! Please let me know if you need any other help in the meantime.
