Is there a way to migrate my store from the Weebly editor to the Square editor?

I currently have a weebly web site www.clarinetinstitute.com

I've been with weebly for years but it appears that weebly support is disappearing quickly and my weebly site is getting more and more buggy.  It is time to migrate to Square.

I've looked everywhere but I've only found hints that there are ways to migrate a store from Weebly to Square.  I shouldn't be too difficult.  After all, it's the same company.

Is there a way to migrate my store from the Weebly editor to the Square editor?

Hey @Brahms234,

Thank you for reaching out! I’m happy to assist you with your transition from Weebly to Square Online.

Please note that it’s not possible to migrate the Weebly editor over to Square Online. You’ll need to create an entirely new site. Keep in mind that the templates may differ, so your new site might look a little different. Be sure to check out the support articles linked above to get started.

@MayaP

thanks for the info and feedback.

what happens if you don't change anything and stay with weebly (site editor) even after the end of support: do the pages stay online?

i use the site editor and don't want to build a new site. i would lose all the google rankings and visibility i have built up over the years.

thx!

Hi @MayaP

of course, thanks in advance for your help/information.

There are reports that Weebly support (for website builder) will end in July. My subscription is renewing for another year in July (starter site & custom domain: event-dj-bjoern.de) and I would like to stay with Weebly for now.

Unfortunately, I have not yet received any official notification or information about the end of support and (possible) consequences. And as far as I know, it's not possible to switch/migrate your website to square (i don't have a shop).

"At this time, it wouldn't be possible to convert a site built with the Weebly drag-and-drop editor to Square Online" (source: https://tinyurl.com/5n94jukv)

Do u know, if the websites be online/accessible as usual after July and what does the end of support mean specifically? Will the weebly-editor be usable as usual?

Kind regards,
Björn
