Is there a way to change the items shown on customer order summary for online orders?

Is there a way to change the items shown on customer order summary for online orders? Sometimes when we are processing orders, not all items are ready. The order summary the customer receives in their notification shows them the items that are not ready. Is there a way to change this so they are able to see what items are ready for pickup?

Hi... We use the system for spirit shirts at our school. When items are completed, we check them in the system and the customer receives an email. The email the customer receives does NOT show them what they are picking up, it shows them what is pending. However, it does not say that the items are pending. I am trying to determine if I can change what is shown on the order summary.
