Hi there! Looking for some assistance on how to view SSL certificate information for our Square-hosted site so that I can add it to Dreamhost, which we use for hosting our own secondary custom POS system that helps us track inventory (we're an indie bookstore). For reference, this is the page from Dreamhost asking for the SSL certificate, which we have through our plan on Square.
Thanks!
Hey there @kate423.. Square does not use either multi-domain or wildcard SSL certificates. They create single-domain certificates for Square Online websites. Since this is the case, you would not be able to use Square's certificates to secure another domain. This is a pretty common restriction for website hosts. Those that create multi-domain/wildcard certificates usually charge an extra fee for this added security layer, but as far as I can determine Square does not currently offer this as an option.
So, in order to secure your backup POS, you'd need to create another SSL certificate for that purpose.

Cool, thank you for the clarification!
