So for the past few months, I've had my Instagram feed auto scrolling along the bottom of my website homepage. Today, the feed disappeared. I went to edit the homepage to bring the feed back, but when I clicked on the Instagram section in the editor, it said that Square was having trouble connecting to my Instagram account. I tried deleting the section so I could re-add it later and try to reconnect my Instagram again, but after I deleted the feed from my website, I couldn't add it back. The option to add an Instagram feed had simply disappeared from the "add page" section in the editor. How should I get my Instagram feed back on my website? I'm lost.
Square has fixed this problem! Everything is working again.
HI, you might need to update your Instagram settings. Review them either on a laptop or desktop since they are not available on the app.
My account is already a business account, but Square still won't let me even try to link an account. It's as if the option to insert an Instagram feed just vanished. Is there anything else I can try?
Thank you so much, @Gold, for offering your assistance—I really appreciate it! 😁
Hey @StudioBroad, thanks for flagging this. Did @Gold 's suggestion help?
Not yet- I just need a bit more clarification from them, but then it should be helpful
Have you had any luck? I’m still not able to connect my Instagram

Hey @StudioBroad I just saw this reply. I’m so glad to hear this was fixed! If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Still not working for me!
It sounds like there might be a couple of things causing this issue. First, ensure that your Instagram account is still connected to your Square website. Log in to your Square dashboard, go to the "Settings" section, and check the social media connections. If the connection is broken, try re-linking your Instagram account.
If you still can't find the option to add the Instagram feed, it's possible Square has updated its editor or temporarily disabled the feature. I’d recommend checking Square’s support page or contacting their customer service for clarification.
As a workaround, you can embed your Instagram feed manually using a third-party tool like SnapWidget or LightWidget. These tools generate an embed code that you can add to your website’s HTML or use in a custom section. This way, your Instagram feed will display even if the direct integration isn’t working. Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more detailed steps.
