How to change Location for eCommerce integrations

We hold events 2x per year, where we sell tickets, concessions, etc. We have different Locations set up for each event for reporting purposes. 

 

For ticket sales, we sell both in person and using a 3rd party ticket sales site, which when viewing the Transactions, shows up as "eCommerce integrations" for the Payment Method and the business's name for the Source. When viewing the individual transactions, the Location shows under "Collected At" in the transaction details.

 

Usually the first few event ticket sales come through for the wrong location and I change it, but this time I'm trying to change it before sales start. In the past, I've been able to change the Location where the ticket sales partner's transactions go, but for the life of me I can no longer figure out how to do it.

 

Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

Hopefully I figured out how to share a screenshot (this is my first time using this forum).

Basically, we started sales with our ticket vendor, but the first few transactions went through to the wrong Location (Nutcracker). I was able to - somehow - change the Location to the correct one (Recital) so that the rest posted to the correct location. 

 

My issue is that I cannot figure out how to change the Location anymore, which I would like to do in advance for a change. LOL 

As stated before, we use Locations for events, rather than physical locations. It just makes reporting easier, but is not strictly necessary.

So you're trying to edit the location of the completed transaction? If so, that cannot be done once the payment is complete and shows in the transactions tab. I will tag some super sellers who can share their insights as well: @sugarlab @timberhillwine @keicollective @anucrown @arickrtattoos.

No worries, I was distracted by other work, so this has been on my mental back burner anyway. 

I’m not trying to change the location associated with the transaction *after* the fact. What I’m trying to do is to change the location that the transactions created by our ticket sales vendor will go to *ahead* of time.

 

As I mentioned before, we use locations as “events” for reporting. We have one event in December and another in June, and this helps with reporting on all the transactions for each event. The ticket sales vendor sells all the “in advance” tickets, and we also sell tickets & concessions in person. For the in person sales, we have generic “team members” because we have parent volunteers taking the card payments.  

 

We’ve used this method for a few years now, so I know that I can change the location for the ticket sales vendor.

 

But I don’t know if the way to do it has changed & I can’t find where to change it anymore - or if I’m just having a brain fart lol.
