How is this still not a feature? More options on # of pickups and how often.

I need to be able to allow 1 pickup every 60 minutes. I make custom cakes and I can't have a pickup every 15 minutes. I already adjusted the lead time to 48 hours but the day of the pickup I need more cushion in between in each order. The code is there...if it can be every 15 minutes why can't it be editable to 30 mins, 60 mins, etc. How do I scream this from the rooftops? 😣

Hi @barkshopbakery.  The Community has a thing called the Ideate Board.  Requests posted there are the equivalent of screaming from the rooftops, I guess.  For your request, I would think that the Square Online forum would be the appropriate one.

 

Since your post title included this question “How is this still not a feature?” I’ll suggest that feature requests are more quickly considered without all of that kind of stuff.  There are lots of things that probably should be features, but like all software companies, Square works often on the “squeaky wheel” principle.  The more people who request a feature, the better its chances for being implemented.  Submit a request and simply state the nature of your problem, why you feel like your change would benefit not only you but the larger Square Seller Community.  make your case simply and directly.  That will get the ball rolling and you’ll hear back for either more clarification or with a decision.

 

Also, remember that Square has most likely set their product change roadmap a few months in advance so they can plan manpower and budgets to make the new features on that roadmap a reality.  Which is just my way of saying that even if Square decides to add this to a future roadmap it will not come quickly.  You might find better results heading over to the Square App Marketplace and searching for third-part online store software to integrates with Square if you really need this yesterday.

 

If they are convinced, chances are good that this might happen more quickly than in the past.  I can tell you from experience that I’ve seen Square pumping out new changes and features over the past year more so than I’ve ever seen before.  They are receiving lots of requests for things and they have to prioritize.  I’ll hope for your sake that yours becomes one of those for the future.
