12/13 Update: The response has been fantastic! Just so everyone is aware, if you haven't gotten a response yet - don't worry. We'll get to your site over the next couple of weeks. We'll also tag you when we reply, so you'll get an additional email saying one of us "mentioned" you.
Hey Elisabeth! Thank you for the suggestion. I initially put the pop-up to promote my work at CRAFT when they first had my items available and forgot to update! Thank you for the reminder 🙂 I hope you get some sunshine soon! And thank you for your kind words!
Ah, I see - I'm glad my suggestion reminded you! And it is a little sunnier here today - even a little makes a big difference! 😊
Hey @SweetAriellellc ! Thanks for sharing your site! Everything looks incredible - including the food! Seriously gorgeous, amazing-looking items. One suggestion I have is to move your ordering information and instructions to a separate page and link to it from the navigation menu. I think it would be easier for people to find that way, and you could even link to it from your product descriptions if you find people seem to be missing the instructions (as people often do 😉).
Hi Elizabeth,
I like what I hear. Is there a way to work with me go implement your suggestions? If so, I’m happy to give them a try.
Paul of Sweet Arielle
Hey Paul! No problem, I'll share the instructions here in case anyone else might find it helpful! 😄
To add a new page, open your site in the site editor and click the "+" button, then choose "Page" from the dropdown menu. Select "[blank page]" from the list and enter a name for the page. Make sure the "Add to navigation" box is checked, then click Add.
Now you can move the information from your home page to this new page:
Click the page list on the upper left and select your home page to open it in the site editor.
On the page, click on the section with the ordering information to open the settings panel on the left.
In the settings panel, click the ". . ." button and choose Move to another page, then select your newly-created page from the list and click Move.
That will move the section to the new page, and you can then make any other edits you want. When you're ready, just re-publish the site.
Here are a couple articles from our support center that have more information:

Hope that helps!
Would love feedback! Collinsandcoupe.com is my store 😎
looks like the link didn't attach. http://collinsandcoupe.com
thank you!
Hi @collinsandcoupe ! I love what you've done with the site - the header image has such an inviting, cozy vibe, and the whole site is laid out so nicely. I also love that you're using categories creatively (e.g., Staff Picks, What's New). I think the only thing I would suggest is adding an "About" page to share your story with visitors. I seriously could spend hours browsing your site... I predict some holiday shopping in my near future. 😉
Thank you! Feel free to use discount SQUARE for 10% off your holiday shopping ☺️ this offer is for everyone!
Great. Our linkRiverdelcheese.com
Hi @Riverdel! First of all, I love that you have an accessibility plugin on the site - it's so important, but not always top of mind for everyone! It's also great to see your FAQ pages and other details right up front. Your product photos and descriptions are nicely done, but I think you could use a little more color around the rest of the site to brighten things up.
Hi @anucrown ! Wow - I love what you've done with the site! 🎩
Everything looks amazing and so pulled-together, and it's easy to navigate. Great photos and "about" page, too - I always like to hear the story behind the name and the business. 😊
I don't have much to suggest other than to keep doing what you're doing now, but one thing you could try is adding an Instagram feed (if you have an account). If you're interested in trying that, here's an article from our support center with details:
https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6883-add-an-instagram-section-in-square-online-store
Hi! I used to use my square site mainly for wholesale orders, then switched to retail when the pandemic hit since I wasn't able to do shows and it was much easier than PayPal buttons via my standard website for the amount of product I have. Frankly, it's been amazing for me, but I know there's definitely room for improvement. I'm considering upgrading to the next level of service and I'm likely going to do all new photographs for everything (as I'm also building a separate wholesale front with another site and really need to do that anyway).
Site: http://owlkeyme.square.site
Hi @owlkeyme! Your site looks great! It's very well-organized, and I love that you have photos and descriptions for everything! There are just a couple of things I noticed:
- On your main page, the text under "Art makes magical gifts" is a little small and using a different font than the text on the rest of the site. That can happen when you paste text in from a doc that had formatting. You can try removing the formatting by selecting the text in the site editor and then clicking the "Tx" button in the panel on the left (it looks more like a T with a \ through it).
- Also on the main page, the title next to the Gift Card option is the default, placeholder text (Distinctive and Bold). It's totally okay if you want to use that text - just wanted to point it out since it's easy to overlook things like that. 🙂
Thank you Elisabeth!
Thanks #AdamB! Would love any input you have for us!
P.S. my main site that is not affiliated with Square is willamettewildlings.com. I tried to tie the theme of my square site with my main site. My main site is really the only way that folks get to my Square site (SEO doesn't seem to pick up my Square site very well).
Hi @safsac! Thanks for sharing your site! I really like that you're using a neutral color palette for the site - it lets your plant and flower pictures stand out. 🌼
One suggestion I'd make is to make your categories sub-pages of the Shop All page. This would free up space in your navigation menu so nothing would be hidden under the "More" menu item. I also think the home page banner text is a little hard to read against the photo background. You could try using a different header layout where the image is off to the side of the text and button, or you could try using a different color for the text.
Thank you.
