Domian Woes

I previously had a WIX site which I transferred to square online because we are using square in our retail shop. I had my emails setup through wix so when I transferred I lost them. I set up a new email account through Crazy Domains and still couldn't get email so I decided to transfer the domain name to them as well. Since I have done this my website is no long live even though the DNS points to the right IP address and the domain page on sqaure online says its connected. It has been over a 4 days since it has said that and 3 weeks since my site went down. We are based in Sydney and currently closed because of lockdown. With the website down I now have no income at all coming in. HELP

Thanks for writing in! I noticed it's your first post, welcome to our community 👋 🙂

 

While we can't look into domain settings that are hosted elsewhere, it sounds like some of these settings might need to be corrected. In your Crazy Domain settings, you will need to make sure that the only records on your domain are as follows;

 

1 A - type Record with the host/value set as the "@" or the * symbol (depends on your registrar) pointing to "199.34.228.164"

&

Another A type Record with the host value as "www" and pointing to "199.34.228.164". After that, your SSL should propagate within 24-48 hours from setting the proper settings.
