Deleted items showing on website

I have deleted items on my Square online store, but one deleted item keeps showing up on my store page.
I looked at other threads for solutions and tried them, such as toggling filters on and off but i still see them. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

Hi @fk47, welcome to the Square Community! I would be happy to help get this figured out for you.

 

I am assuming you may have already tried this, but could you please confirm you have done these steps?:

1. Go to Account & Settings > My Business > Locations. Is the location type Mobile?

  • If so, change it to Physical.

2. From Account & Settings > My Business > Locations, does every location have business hours, an email, and a phone number?

  • If not, please complete all fields with valid info.

3. From Account & Settings > My Business > Locations, copy each location address into this Address Validation Tool.

4. Go to Online > Settings > General. Is the Store Information completely filled in?

  • If not, please complete all fields with valid info.

5. Go to Items > Item Library. Are there two or more items with the same name?

  • If so, delete or rename all duplicate items.

6Go to Items > Categories. Are there two or more items with the same name?

  • If so, delete or rename all duplicate items.

If you have gone through these steps and still have no luck with those deleted items, would you be able to post an item or two that is still showing up on you site? That way I can escalate this to our eCommerce team for you.

 

I will keep an eye out for your response in the meantime!

I have checked and done all of the above. But deleted item is still showing. 

I'm seeing countless threads in this forum of people with the same issue. Seems like a major bug in the Square product that has existed for 2-3 years is not fixed.

But if the bug still exists, i worry that future deleted products will keep showing up as seen in other threads by other users.

Hi Sammie, is there any chance you could escalate this issue for my store?  I've removed the Unisex Hoody item from everywhere, but it's still there on the store website, rr-music.square.site.  Thanks very much.

I have this issue right now too. And it's happened multiple times before. Usually I have to put in a ticket, Square re-syncs my website. Then it fixes it. (It never fixes it when I re-sync it myself).

Hi everyone, I was communic ating with Tranguyen previously and she was able to escalte this issue for our site to be re-indexed. And it worked. Sadly though I have another deleted item showing again. I am wondering is someone could re-index all of impacted sites in this thread? Our store is www.goodwillfinds.ca and I have included the item that is popping up, in this thread by picture. I certainly hope all of impacted items can make this work through re-indexing. It is the Pink Floyd Shirt,It is the Pink Floyd Shirt,
