Change Shop All page

I don't want all my items to show on Shop All. I would like customers to land on a Shop page and see the different categories and be able to select from there. Is that possible?

Hi Dep,

Sounds like you want to create a homepage or may be a shop page, is this correct?

From you dashboard navigate to online, online store, website and then edit website.

On the left hand sidebar you can either select the homepage and strip back the elements you don't want to see or press the + to create a new page and add the elements you want. Featured categories will be worth a look at for what you are looking to achieve.

Thanks, I already have a site and a SHOP ALL page, but I don't like all the items being the first thing customers see; I would rather they had the choice of clicking on the one category they are interested in. It seems there may have been work arounds in the past for some categories but I can't find a way to have the SHOP ALL page simply be the [page where categories are available for clicking.

Take a look at our website, we have a popular gifts category section on the home page and no shop all, which is made using the featured categories.

Is this what you are looking to do?

Thanks very much - that does look like what I am trying to achieve.  You seem to also have your shop all page which shows everything, but I do want to be able to create maybe 5 featured items (I am thinking of them as categories) on a page that then clicks through to the items in those categories that are for sale. Can you point me in the direction of how I would be able to create those links? Thanks so much for your help.

So when you refer to our shop do you mean the shop all link in the menu bar (it sits next to our contact us link)? If so then this can be removed from the menu so it doesn't show in fact you can remove all the links from the menu bar if this is what you want.

to do this, when you are in the website editor, in the header section there is a section called navigation and there is a button which opens up edit links, you can add and delete the menu links there.

With the categories, add to either a new page or your homepage, go to the add a section in the left hand sidebar of the web editor and you will see a link with a blue + that says add a section, click and find the featured categories (when the link is pressed this will open up the products in the categories you add here. You may want to feature a product, same process but add a the featured items instead. There are some customizations you can do to fit the look you are after so layout, number of columns. section titles, category titles etc

Hope this helps.
