Yesterday when I got to work I received this error. The register still worked but slowly.
today it won’t even power on. It did for a few minutes but wouldn’t connect to the customer screen so I couldn’t take payments.
anyone have this happen before? How did you resolve it?
I believe i experienced that, I rebooted it and re added the device code
I tried that but I’m going to try that hard reset tomorrow morning.

If you haven't done so already, could you please make sure that your Register is all up to date? If there are no updates available, could you please take a photo to show which version of software you're currently on? We'll need that information if it becomes necessary to escalate this issue further.

I checked for updates and it said none available. If I can get to the setting screen I will take a picture of the version and serial number.

If the screen gets stuck and you're unable to move about the Register menu to get the software version and serial number, please try a factory reset by following the steps here.
