Wrong items on receipts

I use a Square terminal for my gift shop/coffee shop. When we select an item that a customer has purchased (e.g. tea biscuit), another item (e.g. muffin) appears on the screen and the printed receipt. This is happening with multiple items. We have rebooted our terminal but it is still happening. Any suugestions?

First, can we confirm which version your Register is on? 

1. Tap ≡ More > Settings > Hardware > General.
2. Tap About Square Terminal or About Square Register or About Square Handheld.
3. From this page, you’ll see your software version.
4. You can also tap Check for Update to see if a software update is available.
