There has been stories in the news about people picking up the terminals at stores ( so owner doesn't see their pin code) and then use the terminal to refund themselves money. Is there a way to put a passcode on just this function? so that a refund cannot be issued without a passcode. If I just have a passcode on my terminal it opens up all functions once the code is entered .... so now the terminal is open a customer can still do their own refund if they take your terminal.

It would be extremely hard for the customer to get to the refund screen after entering their pin. They would have to get through the PIN screen, receipt screen, and go to your transactions.
A workaround, which I know isn't ideal, would be to limit the permission of the team member signed in. This would prevent the ability for them to issue refunds at all on that device.
Since what you're looking for would be a Feature Request, so I would recommend adding this to our Ideate Board. That way other seller can add their voice to your request too.
