  • What device are you using with your Square Reader? (e.g., iPhone 14, Samsung S23, etc.)
  • Are Location Services enabled for the Square app in your device’s Settings app?
  • Are you receiving any error messages on the app?
  • Does the disconnection occur after specific actions, such as closing and reopening the app?
  • Is your device updated to the latest software version (iOS or Android)?
  • Are you running the latest version of the Square app?
