What is your experience with Square Terminal? Is it a good add on for Square Register?

We are a retail gift shop with a bar.  We currently use Square Register as a main register.  But the bar area also needs mobility. Currently we are are us square app on iPhone but it’s kinda clunky with the reader and scanner in your pocket. And if you don’t use it continuously it disconnects.  Is square terminal a better alternative? Does it have the save ticket/tab function? Love to hear from others.

I personally love the Square Terminal (I may be biased)  I love the fact of not having to use my phone when charging. It does offer Ticket Management so you should be able to use that at your convenience and it would also save you the trip to the printer for the receipt.

Do you have a scanner connected?

By Scanner do you mean a Barcode Scanner? If so, no I do not use a barcode scanner as I mainly charge for services.
