Hello, we just upgraded our register. We did have the white one with the built-in swipe, but upgraded to the black one and it does not have a built-in swipe or it uses the kind of swipe that goes in the headphone jack. For some reason I cannot get that Swiper to work to save my life. I have enabled the microphone. I have turned off the iPad and turn it back on. I have closed the app and re-opened the app and it still won’t work. It’s really frustrating because we are a busy shop and I can’t swipe cards or the biggest thing is gift cards I can’t use them we have to manually input them and it takes a lot longer. Does anyone have any ideas what else I could try?
Try testing it with another device first if you can. I will say that this swipe reader can be a little tricky sometimes until you get the hang of it.
