Unable to accept contactless tap payments

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Tap to Pay on Till.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the tap to pay it won't accept cards only if you insert the car and enter the pin. I've tried turning it off and back on, checked for updates but I'm unsure why it's now not working..anyone else had issues?

Sorry to hear about this issue, @HopC25!

To confirm, is this happening on your Square Register? When customers attempt to tap their card, are you seeing any error messages on the screen, or is your device simply not recognising the customer's card/phone? 

I'll keep an eye out for your reply. 😊

Yes we had the same issue with our square POS when a customer went to pay by contactless the whole terminal would reboot.  We contacted square and they advised to undock the customer facing screen and plug the cable into it and put it flat on the counter.  This has helped and worked for a while and then we redocked it for a while, it's now on the cable again.  It's a bit annoying but mostly working.  Hope you get sorted
