We are new to Square. I am seeing other threads that say there was an update on Friday? I need to print all pages of my Estimates and Invoices. Only page one is there. I've tried updating, reinstalling the printer, adjusting all kinds of settings. This is not the Square printer it is a standard laser printer. Thank you for any help!
Facing the same problem here, when trying to print Estimates to PDF, it is only showing the first page.
The problem still exists and is hindering our business functions. Is there a means to get support? Thank you!
Sorry to hear the issue is happening to you @Wiebold @ampsol !
To help us with reproducing the issue and investigating further on our end, can you let me know:
Browser: Chrome Version 145.0.7632.160 (Official Build) (arm64)
Estimates > Select Estimate > More > Print
I only require the PDF version of the estimate. Previously, I would select Print and choose “Save as PDF” as the destination, and it would generate the full document.
However, it is now only saving the first page. Even in the print preview, it shows just the first page instead of the complete estimate.
I have tried using Safari and the Estimate does not even generate (1 blank page) when printing.
I have no issues with downloading invoices (Invoices > Select Invoice > More > Download PDF).
Thank you!
We are using Chrome
We are going to Estimates, Selecting a client, More, Print
Also, Invoices, Selecting a client, More, Print
Also for both Invoices and Estimates, Right click on either the estimate or invoice in the pop up box and the same situation occurs.
Any attempt to save the document seems to produce the same results
found a workaround for now.
more>share>copy link>open in new tab>print
i thought i was taking crazy pills but it looks like a bug that HOPEFULLY gets fixed soon because its very annoying
That is a nice workaround, it will help for the time being. Sadly the print looks like screen shot so that removes the professional character. But, I do appreciate you finding this option and helping!
I ran into that too after I replied. I found if you highlight the entire page (NOT ctrl+a, you have to use the mouse pointer) then right-click the highlighted text and print (again NOT ctrl+p), it removes the text bubble and makes it look almost the same as the regular estimate print page.
That is wonderful!!!! Thank you
Thank you for resolving the issue — I really appreciate the prompt assistance.
I would like to suggest adding a dedicated “Download as PDF” option for estimates, similar to what is currently available for invoices.
It would also be great if the PDF estimates followed the same formatting as invoices, including consistent margins and layout, to maintain a professional and uniform appearance across all documents.
I think we may be fixed! Just printed and it was back to normal 🙂
