I had a Square terminal for a couple years and it died. I purchased a new one and now it is not synced to my laptop that is sitting next to it. I either have to use the terminal as a separate point of sale or the PC as a separate point of sale. I want to be able to run the sale on my PC and swipe the card on the terminal.
I checked through the settings and I don't see anything that's obvious.
Does anyone know how to sync the terminal to the PC for sales?

I'm wondering if the Square Dashboard is stuck on your prior terminal so it's not linking with the new device.
I think your best bet would be to unpair all your connected terminals and start fresh.
Dashboard -> Payments & Invoices -> Virtual Terminal -> Settings
Scroll down to the Devices section and unpair anything listed here via the three dots to the right of the name.
On your terminal, sign out completely from your account. Back on the dashboard, click the Add Device Now button and follow the steps to get a new device code. On your terminal, use that device code to log in. That should get your new terminal connected.
