Square Register Faulty Connection Difficulties

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: Why is printer working and cash drawer too but the register keeps saying there’s a faulty connection

 

Please note that the connection port for the register where the YSB plugs in is faulty

Solution

After running all the checks & replacing a cord or two I realize it’s likely the USB box

its on order.   Been a week.  Hopefully shows up soon

I would be happy to look into this for you, but I have a few questions:

  1. Could I get a bit more clarification on when this is occurring exactly?
  2. As well as, what is the exact message you receiving?
  3. Do you by chance have a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?
