Please help me change the image on my customer facing credit card dock for my square register. I have changed it once, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.
Hi @DMC101 You should be able to follow these steps below to change the image .
Access your Square Dashboard: Log in to your Square Dashboard at https://squareup.com/login
Navigate to Account & Settings and then click on Business., and then select your Location.
From there, Scroll down until you find the Point of Sale Background Checkout, upload your image and be sure to click save.

Okay, I figured this out again, it still makes no sense to me why it is such an ordeal. I found two different paths to change the background picture on the customer facing display on a Square Register. I assume you can use this method to originally add a picture if you didn't have one before, but this is specifically for changing a picture you already display. One tip I learned years ago, I save pictures in a Square folder that I have on my computer, for me this works because I switch between the same pictures depending on what season my business is operating in. One other tip, Square can't accept files that are .jpg, only .jpeg, if your picture has a file extension of .jpg, just simply "save as" and select .jpeg as the file type, or if you know how, just rename it by changing the file extension (you might not have this permission, or ability).
Okay, here are the two ways to update your picture, the first way works the quickest, but only works if you have one location.

Home Screen
Settings
Account & Settings
My Business
About
Under Branding, click the edit "pencil" (this is if you already have some branding, in our case it is our logo)
Click edit
Upper Right click skip or next (does the same thing)
Left side click Point of sale
Delete the picture that is there and upload new one.
If you have more than 1 location
Dashboard
Homescreen
Settings
Account & Settings
My Business
Locations
Click on the location that you want to change
Click Edit Location
Scroll down to "Branding"
Under Branding, click the edit "pencil" (this is if you already have some branding, in our case it is our logo)
Click edit
Upper Right click skip or next (does the same thing)
Left side click Point of sale

So over ten steps to change a photo, seems like this could be easier. If someone has an easier way, please post it.

This method worked for me a couple years ago, however, I don't believe it worked for me last year or this year. I just can't remember how I finally figured out the location to do this (it made zero sense to me, pretty sure I found it by chance). When I go to settings, Account and Settings, Business, and then Locations, it shows my business (one location), but I can't scroll down, nothing under the location listing. When I click on the location, it just opens up a listing on the right side of my screen, with basic location information, nothing about changing the customer facing screen. So, any ideas?
