Transfer Data to a New Account

My business partner and I are going our separate ways, and I need to pull all the data from my account to a new one. Is it possible to transfer all of my inventory, sales, and employee data to a new account, and if so, how?

Hi @desertofmaine, thank you for your post! Welcome to the Square Community.

Just to confirm, you are looking to transfer your Square account information to another Square account, correct?

If so, here some helpful pointers and limitations on that process.

• In regard to your reporting data, that information is not transferable. The workaround for that would be to use the old account for reporting purposes from prior years.
• As well as employee information is not transferable and would likely need to be manually re-entered. 
• If you would like to transfer your item library, you can export the current item library and export the template from the new account to then transfer over the item information over to the new template to be imported.

Unfortunately not everything is able to be transferred, but the manual process is fairly quick and easy.
