Remove business name from customer display since update

We have been using Square for around 3 years and the the customer facing screen customisation used to be simple. Since it has been updated in branding, rather than location > customer display screen I don't seem to be able to remove the business name from displaying across the middle of any uploaded images. 

We use the images to market seasonal events and specials, however, this loses a great deal of impact when part of the message is obscured by the business name. 

Please can someone help with a resolution to this issue for the update. I can find plenty of articles explaining how it used to work, but none for the new process, if there is one.

Thanks for reaching out. With the recent update to the Branding section, the customer display now automatically shows the business name, and unfortunately there isn’t currently an option to remove or reposition it. I know this affects how your promotional images appear, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I’ve passed your feedback to our product team, and in the meantime you may find it helpful to use images with some open space in the center so the branding overlay doesn’t cover key text. If any updates are released to improve customization, we’ll share them in our release notes. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
