Automatic Card surcharge not always added

Automatic card surcharge sometimes not added to total balance,why??

Hi @HotHatch Well, I missed your flag on my first reading of this post.  I started to post a long explanation of possibilities, then saw you are in Australia.  So, select-all-delete! Ha.

 

Given that current Australian law allows for surcharging of all debit and credit cards, this is odd indeed.  I'm going to tag the Community moderators to see if they can follow up.  It would be helpful if you would either post a screenshot or a transaction that is not correct, or post the transaction ID so that the engineers can research it.

 

(I'll mention that I was intrigued to learn that your government might rescind surcharges after the first of the year.  I find that intriguing on many fronts.)

I have had several conversations with Square support and provided my Trasaction records 3 times now, still their Techs have not provided me with an explaination or remedy.

Good luck, please let me know if succeed in having this software glitch fixed.
